I met an angel

An angel @ the store paid for my groceries today. All because I let two people ahead of me use my Albertson's card and gave the teenager .20 cents so he didn't have to put his gum back. So she blessed me. I was touched! God bless her!

My thoughts her words....

Amanda Burlingham (click on the her name/link to see her post)wrote a post that puts how I feel sometimes into words.  Those who know me know that talking isn't a problem for me.  However, putting all that thinking and talking into words on paper or computer in this case isn't my forte.  I just keep it short and to the point.  I wish I could write like my blogging friends.  They are so passionate with the written word.  I am just as passionate about my journey to Sophia but I can't put the right words in a post.  I may not have the same struggles as Amanda is having right now, but I have my own full plate.  All I can say is we will get to our children one bite at a time (reference to the full plate) LOL. 

God loves ALL his children and he will get us there even when we can't see how.  <3

Ok I have the venue plans are coming together.  So mark your calendar if you will be in the are area, August 14th.  The American Legion in Norco will be the place to be!  I am putting together the second Quartermania for Sophia!  I'm so excited I just can't hide it!  Planning started late this afternoon and we already have Pampered Chef, Gold Canyon, and Curious Cupcakes on board.  Stay tuned for more to come!  Where else can you help save a child and walk away with items worth up to $75 for 4 quarters (one dollar) or LESS!  That's right nothing over a dollar!  There will be raffles and a 50/50 drawing at the event as well.  You will have a blast, if you have been you know.  If this is your first time you will be chomping at the bit for more.  Come and have some fun!

At 5:10 PST I used Random.org Random Number Generator to pick the winning number. As donations were made I added them to a spread sheet on Excel to keep track. There were 10 donations so I had the generator pick a number between 1 and 10.....The winner is...........

FSP has jumped

I'm so excited to see Sophia and my FSP jump  it's now at $1050.  It is such a dauting mountain when you see the total amount you need to adopt your daughter.  It breaks your heart and casuses fear.  I know with God all things are possible as long as we have faith.  I am trying with all my might to have faith in Him to bring Sophia home.  There is a hole in my heart waiting for her to come home.  I <3 her so much.

We lost Warner

This sweet little one has gone to be with his forever family in Heaven...He is one month younger than Sophia.  Breaks my heart.  He never had a mommy or daddy to hug and kiss him.  He now has that from the angels...  I know he is loved.  This is why I bombard everyone with requests to pray, share, and donate.  Imagine someone in your family not being there...you would be missing a piece of you.  This is how I feel about Sophia.  I have never met her, yet I feel as if a piece of my heart is missing.  The t-shirt I had desinged for her depicts that.  (www.hopetohome.com/meier.html) I am trying to find things everyone will be interested in to auction, sell, having a cash giveaway (who couldn't use some $)  I know money is tight for all of us.  But this truly is a life and death journey I am on.  I want Sophia to live a long and blessed life not a life in an adult institution where she won't be encouraged or loved on or taught to go after her dreams.
