Quilt, Matching Donations and a great gift

I picked out a design for Sophia's quilt....want to hear about it....ok I will tell you.  It is a tree with leaves and hearts.  That is in the middle the border will be colorful squares.  There are two birds in the tree representing Sophia and me.  The leaves/hearts will be embroidered with the names of donors who donate $15.  The squares around the border will be used for those who would like to write a note of love to Sophia or a drawing and the donation for those will be $25.  Please note in the instructions or comment section if you would like on your square or if you would like to do your own.  :)

As you may know I have two generous matching donations going on starting now through the end of January 2012.  Jennifer and Joel Webb, Seth Sutton and Roofity are matching donations up to $3000 and Eric Pegler and his wife are matching donations up to $500 in memory of thier son Alexander who went to live with Jesus at the tender age of 3.

I was looking at my friend list on Facebook and I have over 1100 friends (those who have befriended me and those I have befriended).  If 1100 of those friends donated $25 each Sophia's fund would rise to $27,500 plus the matching donation of an additional $3500 for a grant total of $31,000 which I do believe would make me close if not fully funded.  Do you have $25 you could donate?  Do you need a tax deduction before the end of the year?  If so you can make the donation in my name to Global Adoption Services. (just send a note stating it's for Megan Meier and you would like a tax deduction letter) or if you don't need the deduction but want to make a donation you can use my Dossier Submission chip-in  on the top left of the page.  Even if you can only spare a couple of dollars.  They all add up to the ransom needed to free a beautiful precious child from a life in an institution.  I pray Sophia who turns 4 this year doesn't have to spend one day in the institution.

Please say a little prayer, share Sophia and my story, and if led donate.

God Bless you all.
